Ideas on the burner.

Remember those plotbunnies?  Here are a few of mine that are sitting in their cages, waiting for a chance to be free. Hopefully I’ll be able to let them out and actually write them in the next couple of years.

Belladonna Dreams: What do an old farmhouse, the ruins of an insane asylum and a pond with bottomless sinkholes have in common? Together they hold pieces of a story that draws paranormal investigator Sapph Pendragon into a web of murder, madness and lost love that has stretched over more than a century in rural New Hampshire.  Four years after her bodyguard and three of her best friends were killed investigating a haunted house with her, Sapph responds to a call for help from an old college friend. She and her current bodyguard Maggie head up to Springton, NH, where they discover two psychopathic ghosts hell-bent on coming through the World Walls to reclaim their mortal lives. All that stands in their way is Sapph, and skills she hasn’t used in over four years.

Treaty of Betrayal: An urban fantasy, with elves and goblins and the United Nations (oh my!). The treaty between the Bright Court and the humans is up for renewal, and that thankless task has fallen to the Secretary-General. However, the Queen of the Elves has been kidnapped, and Oberon is sure the humans have something to do with her disappearance. Can his half-elven granddaughter and her human lover rescue both the Queen and the negotiations from the Dark Court, or will everything go up in flames?

Blips: A paranormal romance. In a world of magic, Aria uses her hard work to get by. Her best friend is a vampire. Her other best friend and sometime boyfriend is a werewolf. But when they get dumped onto Earth, she discovers the true magic within her. Can she harness her new-found powers before the Mayor kills everyone she cares about?

Raindrops: When her twin sister’s wedding to a king ends in a coup, Elemental Mage Lyssa has only one choice: risk a jump into a raindrop, without knowing where they’ll end up, or face the swords of the enemy. They chose the raindrop – now how will they get out?  What happened to the King? And will they ever make it home?

Phoenix Rising: When the last phoenix was dying, she separated her magic into six mystic crystals and gave them to the heads of the human families that worshipped and protected her, extending their lifetimes so that one day, they could bring the phoenix back from the dead.  Now, the final member of the last family is on the run from a greedy multimillionaire who wants the secret of eternal life at any cost.

There are others, but these are the ones I want to get to within the next few years.
